Gina's by the Sea
est. 1938
It's with heavy hearts and a jumble of emotions that we want you to know that Gina's by the Sea has ended its run as you know it and will not reopen this year.
This is a decision we have agonized over since before covid and with the retirement of both the chef and the owner the end has announced itself.
We understand that many of you will want to know why and the reason is simple. The volume has become too much for us to keep up with and we simply are not going to change how and what we have been doing over the last four and a half decades.
Somewhere, down the road, the restaurant may reopen under different operators who offer a different experience. It may convert to a bed and breakfast or a private residence.
Or not. Only time will tell that story.
But please know this.....For the last 44 years so many, many of you out there have offered words of encouragement, demonstrated acts of kindness and graced us with your patience that we say from our hearts THANK YOU! You have broadened and enriched our lives and you are the reason we came back year after year, and for that we are so deeply appreciative.
From all of us here at Gina's by the Sea, we thank you.

be happy it happened."
